Fletcher George is recruiting a Corporate Tax Senior for an established accountancy and professional services firm in Guildford. You will join a substantial Corporate Tax team working with privately owned businesses, corporate groups and companies with international interests.



The role combines a solid corporation tax compliance portfolio with increasing involvement in advisory work, giving you the opportunity to broaden your technical experience and develop towards a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager position.



This could suit an established Corporate Tax Senior or an experienced Corporate Tax Semi-Senior who is ready for more responsibility, stronger client exposure and a clear next step.

The Role



You will work closely with Managers, Partners and specialist tax colleagues across a varied corporate client portfolio.



Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing corporation tax computations and returns.


• Managing compliance deadlines across a portfolio of corporate clients.


• Liaising directly with clients and HMRC.


• Supporting advisory projects including restructures, reorganisations and tax planning.


• Gaining exposure to group structures and international tax matters.


• Reviewing work completed by junior colleagues as your experience develops.


• Working alongside specialist tax teams on more complex assignments.


• Supporting and developing junior members of the team.

As you progress, you will take on greater client responsibility and become increasingly involved in tax advisory work.




About You



You will have relevant Corporate Tax experience gained within a UK accountancy practice or professional services environment.



You may currently be:

• A Corporate Tax Senior.


• A Corporate Tax Semi-Senior ready to step up.


• ATT qualified.


• ACA or ACCA qualified with relevant Corporate Tax experience.


• Studying towards CTA, or interested in doing so.

You will have a good grounding in UK corporation tax compliance and an interest in developing your advisory, technical and client management skills.



CTA study support is available where required, but you do not need to be studying towards CTA to be considered.




Location



Based in Guildford, Surrey, the office is commutable from Woking, Godalming, Farnham, Aldershot and surrounding areas.
