Project Manager | Agentic AI Delivery | UK Remote / Hybrid

Rate: Competitive (inside IR35)
Duration: 6 months initially

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of cutting-edge Agentic AI initiatives within a large-scale enterprise environment.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape and deliver next-generation AI capabilities, working at the forefront of emerging technology while engaging with senior stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and governance functions.

The Opportunity
You'll be responsible for taking early-stage AI initiatives and turning them into structured, deliverable programmes of work. The initial focus will be defining scope, shaping outcomes, establishing governance and controls, and driving a Proof of Concept through to successful delivery before year-end.
Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors, you'll ensure AI solutions are implemented with the appropriate guardrails, governance, and operational controls in place.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Agentic AI projects from inception through to implementation.
• Shape project scope, define outcomes, and develop delivery plans.
• Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, RAID logs, and decision forums.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation activities.
• Drive stakeholder engagement across business, technology, security, and leadership teams.
• Coordinate vendors and third-party partners, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery.
• Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and project reviews.
• Support the introduction of AI controls, workflows, governance processes, and guardrails.
• Provide regular communication and progress updates to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure projects remain on track while balancing multiple priorities and competing demands.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Proven Project Management experience delivering complex technology programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing project governance, RAID activities, dependencies, and delivery reporting.
• Ability to shape and define projects from concept through to execution.
• Experience working with vendors and external delivery partners.
• Background delivering cloud, digital, API, data, or enterprise technology projects.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Knowledge & Understanding

• Basic to intermediate understanding of Agentic AI, Artificial Intelligence, or automation technologies.
• Understanding of AI workflows, controls, governance, and operational guardrails.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments.

Desirable

• Exposure to Microsoft AI technologies and platforms.
• Knowledge of governance tools such as SailPoint.
• Experience delivering Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and innovation-focused initiatives.
• PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or equivalent Project Management certification.
• Experience within large-scale or regulated organisations.
