Introduction

We are on the lookout for an experienced Programme leader who is passionate about driving transformation towards large -scale projects to Defence and Security clients.

Our client is one of the largest Defence consultancies in the UK who are looking for candidates to lead and manage large digital projects to their Defence and National security clients.

The role will be hybrid with 2-3 days per week on site with travel to other sites expected.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with Designing, developing, transforming strategy, capabilities, and assurance reviews.
• Contribute to client projects including developing plans and production of deliverables
• Conducting change management activities
• Operating Model design and implementation.
• Transforming project controls
• Upholding Programme Governance.
• Setting up Project Management Office setup and maintenance.
• Developing capabilities.
• Digital Transformation.
• Support risk management and financial elements.
• Support client relationships and supporting proposals to win work.

Skills & experience

• Industry knowledge in large-scale programmes.
• Proven experience working within Defence, Security.
• Awareness of project delivery (e.g. supply chain challenges, risks and controls, incentivisation) and engagement management (including bidding, performance management etc.).
• Strong communication to client/stakeholders at all levels in an organisation.
• Problem solving, attention to details, creative thinking and analytical skills.
• Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams.
