Overview of Commodities trader / Analyst:

• Assess the integrity and reliability of market data, implementing improvements where necessary to strengthen modelling outputs and the generation of trading signals.
• Design and optimise quantitative tools, analytical frameworks and workflows to improve the desk's decision-making capabilities.
• Monitor and interpret developments across commodity markets, identifying trends and insights that can inform trading strategies and new investment ideas.
• Partner with the trading desk to construct, maintain and enhance commodity supply and demand models.

What they are looking for in a Commodities Analyst / Trader:

• Minimum bachelor's degree in mathematics / statistics / engineering / econometrics / applied economics or any other computational / mathematic subject Experience within research / analysing / modelling data within a similar setting.
• Strong coding skills in Python.
• Excel experience is a benefit (but not mandatory).
• Passion within the commodities markets.
• Ability to work collaboratively within the team across multiple regions.
