A leading Top 5 accountancy practice is looking to appoint a Corporate & M&A Tax Manager to join its growing Transactions Tax team in London. Working with entrepreneurial businesses, private equity investors and acquisitive corporate groups, you'll advise on a broad range of UK and international transactions, supporting clients through acquisitions, disposals, restructures and strategic investments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced M&A Tax professional looking to take on greater client responsibility while developing their technical expertise within a collaborative and high-performing team.

The Opportunity

As a Corporate & M&A Tax Manager, you'll lead the delivery of transaction tax assignments across a varied client portfolio, working closely with Partners, Directors and specialists across the wider Deals practice.

You'll advise clients throughout the transaction lifecycle, helping them identify tax risks, optimise deal structures and navigate complex commercial decisions. Alongside client work, you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues, contribute to business development and build long-term relationships with private equity and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence assignments across a wide range of transactions.
• Advise clients on transaction structuring, acquisitions, disposals and corporate reorganisations.
• Work collaboratively with specialists across VAT, Employment Tax, Transaction Services and wider advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and professional advisers throughout the transaction process.
• Review legal documentation and financial models, providing commercially focused tax input.
• Manage project delivery, ensuring work is completed to a high technical standard and within agreed deadlines.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities within existing client relationships and contributing to proposals and pitches.
• Coach and develop junior members of the Transactions Tax team, supporting their technical and professional development.

About You

• ACA, CTA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong experience advising on UK corporate transactions, tax due diligence and transaction structuring.
• A solid understanding of UK corporate tax and M&A tax advisory.
• Experience managing multiple projects and delivering work within tight transaction deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and advisers.
• A commercial mindset with an interest in developing new business opportunities.
• Experience supporting and developing junior colleagues within a collaborative team environment.
