The Opportunity

We're partnering with a leading UK consumer-facing business to appoint a Head of Legal to join its senior leadership team.

This is a highly visible role within an organisation undergoing significant growth, transformation and investment. Working closely with senior executives and business leaders, you'll provide commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of strategic, operational and corporate matters whilst helping shape the future development of the legal function.

What You'll Be Doing

• Advising on complex commercial contracts and strategic partnerships
• Supporting customer-facing products, services and commercial initiatives
• Advising on consumer, marketing and advertising matters
• Supporting corporate advisory work
• Providing support on governance and company secretarial matters
• Leading and developing a high-performing legal team
• Acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders and executive leadership
• Supporting business transformation initiatives across the organisation
• Driving innovation within the legal function, including the use of AI, automation and legal technology to improve processes and efficiencies

About You

We're interested in speaking with qualified solicitors who:

• Have successfully operated at Head of Legal level
• Possess strong commercial contracts experience
• Have experience advising on consumer-facing legal matters
• Have exposure to corporate advisory and governance work
• Are comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders and executive teams
• Have proven people leadership experience
• Have an interest in technology, innovation and modern legal operations
• Understand how AI and digital tools can be leveraged to enhance legal service delivery
• Thrive in fast-paced, evolving and commercially focused environments
