Infrastructure Specialist
Our client is a prestigious hedge fund seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to join their ambitious trading environment. Key Responsibilities
- Build, scale, and support Linux-based infrastructure across trading and research environments
- Automate manual processes using Python / PowerShell / scripting tools
- Work across AWS (or similar cloud) to design and manage scalable, reliable systems
- Maintain and improve monitoring, performance, and system reliability
- Partner closely with traders, quants, and developers to troubleshoot production issues
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and platform engineering initiatives
- Drive improvements in system performance, resilience, and operational efficiency
Key Skills
- Strong Linux fundamentals (system admin, performance, troubleshooting)
- Scripting / automation experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Cloud exposure - ideally AWS (compute, networking, storage services)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation or similar)
- Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, latency-sensitive systems)
- Experience supporting production environments (ideally high-availability / low-latency)
