A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Vice President to join its Liquidity & Market Risk team. This role offers the opportunity to work across liquidity risk analysis, stress testing, model governance and strategic risk initiatives within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct liquidity and market risk analysis for new business initiatives and strategic projects.
- Perform stress testing and scenario analysis to assess potential market and operational impacts.
- Model Governance and Risk ownership across a number of risk models.
- Monitor market events and assess potential risk implications.
- Strategic Initiatives and new product assessment.
- Enhance and automate risk reporting, monitoring and analytics processes.
- Support model governance activities, including monitoring, benchmarking and documentation.
- Prepare risk reporting for senior management and regulatory requirements.
- 5+ years' experience in Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Treasury Risk or Risk Consulting.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Advanced Python, SQL and data analysis experience.
- Experience working with large datasets and risk methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
