Description
Master & Reference Data - Transformation Delivery Manager responsibilities:
- The role holds end-to-end accountability for EMEA delivery-planning, dependency management, RAID, change control, readiness, and benefits tracking
- Lead the delivery of master and reference data transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Translate prioritised backlog into executable plans and sprints, maintaining JIRA discipline and tracking KPIs to drive delivery and benefits realisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards within the financial services industry.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance data management strategies.
- Oversee the integration and business readiness of transformation and tools related to master and reference data.
- MRD roadmaps, ensuring dependencies and releases are coordinated.
- Partner with business teams to drive business adoption and measurable MRD outcomes.
Profile
Master & Reference Data - Transformation Delivery Manager should have:
- Proven delivery leadership in data/MDM or client/reference data programmes in financial services
- Strong understanding of master and reference data management principles.
- Strong programme & dependency management across global regions with evidence of RAID management and release governance.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to assess risks and implement effective solutions.
- Agile delivery expertise (backlog execution, ceremonies, incremental value realisation) combined with pragmatic project management (scope/schedule/cost/benefits).
- Hands-on familiarity with MDM platforms and data governance tooling; experience in master and reference data domains for corporate & investment banking.
- Certifications in Agile/SAFe, PRINCE2 or equivalent is beneficial.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations in the banking and financial services sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Competitive salary ranging from £110,000 to £120,000 per annum, dependent on the level of experience.
