About the Role

The Partner Recruiting Manager is a newly created position and an integral part of Latham's global Partner Recruiting & Integration team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of partner and counsel recruiting for the firm. Based in London, this role works closely with the Associate Director of Partner Recruiting - Europe, Middle East & Asia, the London Partner Recruiting team, and colleagues across the global department to support recruiting activities throughout the region. The Manager will have primary responsibility for driving lateral partner and counsel recruiting efforts, focusing on identifying, attracting, and supporting the hire of prospective lateral partners and counsel who align with the firm's strategic priorities. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with relevant members of the Partner Recruiting & Integration Department in relation to proactive candidate searches and, where appropriate, partnering closely with retained or contingent recruiting agencies to map, source, and agree to an approach strategy within a specific practice area, region, or industry
• Ensuring effective communication and coordination with relevant members of the Executive Committee, the Income Partner and Counsel Committee, firm leadership, firm administration, and other key stakeholders, including providing regular updates regarding candidate processes, pipeline activity, and hiring matters, as appropriate
• Taking a best-practice approach to each project, process, or issue encountered, ensuring that the interests and experience of the firm and the candidates are always paramount and that standards of excellence are maintained and embodied throughout
• Processing all applications and introductions of partner candidates, whether direct or through recruiting agencies, and ensuring that all materials are distributed, as appropriate, in a timely fashion to those at the firm involved in each candidate's recruiting process

And have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Recruiting or related law firm experience
