This is a new opportunity with a London based regulatory consultancy which is in build-out mode
The role will be broad and hands‑on, offering exposure to a range of client engagements and the opportunity to work closely with senior team members on delivery, analysis, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
At this early stage of the business, responsibilities will be especially wide-ranging and varied
Supporting delivery of client projects across regulatory, compliance, and operational change initiatives
Conducting research, analysis, and documentation to support client engagements
- Drafting client‑ready materials, reports, and presentations
- Assisting with the identification and resolution of regulatory or compliance‑related issues
- Supporting senior colleagues in managing client relationships and project milestones.
- Keeping up to date with relevant regulatory developments affecting financial services firms
- Contributing to internal process improvement, knowledge sharing, and development of firm capabilities
Technical Competencies
- Good understanding of the UK financial services regulatory environment essential
- Familiarity with FCA Handbook concepts and regulatory expectations essential
- Exposure to areas such as MiFID II, Market Abuse, or MLRs is highly beneficial but not essential
- Strong written and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear outputs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience within financial services, professional services, or closely related environment
- Experience supporting regulatory, compliance, or change initiatives is desirable
- Relevant professional qualifications (or working towards them) are beneficial but not essential
