Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and enhancement of pricing models across Financial Lines classes.
- Produce pricing analyses and portfolio insights to inform underwriting and business decisions.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging trends, opportunities, and areas of concern.
- Collaborate with underwriters to provide pricing guidance and challenge where appropriate.
- Assist with rate adequacy assessments and profitability reviews.
- Contribute to pricing projects, model validation activities, and process improvements.
- Analyse large datasets and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of pricing strategies aligned with portfolio and business objectives.
- Part-qualified GI actuary making progress towards FIA qualification
- Experience within insurance pricing essential
- Exposure to commercial insurance, specialty insurance, or Financial Lines business strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Experience using tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar analytical software.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with underwriting teams.
- Commercially minded and proactive approach.
