This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our Finance transformation journey, driving automation, improving data integrity and delivering insightful reporting across the Group.
The role is suited to candidates based in Manchester, operating within a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
- Leading the production and continuous improvement of Group MI, including management accounts, Board reporting, country packs, budgets and reforecasts.
- Ensuring reporting outputs are accurate, consistent and timely, with clear ownership, defined processes and appropriate controls.
- Working closely with Finance Business Partners, country finance teams and senior stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver MI that supports effective decision-making.
- Managing large, complex datasets from multiple systems, ensuring they are structured, validated and reconciled.
- Owning and designing reporting automation and reducing manual processes across reporting workflows.
- Supporting optimisation of our consolidation tool DataRails to drive reporting efficiency.
- Developing clear reporting structures, dashboards and templates aligned to business needs.
- Embedding best practice across MI production, including controls, documentation and audit trails.
- Supporting wider Finance transformation initiatives to simplify and standardise processes.
What will help you succeed in this role?
- Background in Management Information (MI), reporting, FP&A, finance systems or data-focused roles, ideally within a complex, multi-entity or international environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a robust control mindset, with a track record of delivering accurate, reliable and audit-ready reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data governance and management principles, including data structures, hierarchies, reconciliations, controls and audit trails.
- Advanced Excel skills, with proven experience analysing and interpreting large, complex datasets from multiple systems and sources.
- Experience supporting reporting automation, finance systems implementations or wider reporting transformation programmes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, investigate root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, IT, HR and operational teams.
- Proactive and continuous improvement-oriented, with the confidence to challenge existing processes and drive positive change.
- Professional accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
