Role Summary
We are seeking a Technology Lead with deep expertise in Trade Finance to drive strategic initiatives across Trade Finance and Working Capital Solutions.
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of technology solutions supporting Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into actionable technical specifications, and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, deep domain knowledge in Trade Finance, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams supporting complex enterprise applications.

The typical base pay range for this role is as follows:
depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance applications
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design, develop, and enhance applications, data pipelines, and system integrations
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end technology solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
- Drive application performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Support integration of third-party systems and platforms
- Conduct technical analysis, feasibility assessments, and contribute to business cases
- Ensure application quality through testing, validation, and adherence to industry standards
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices to drive innovation
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in technology within banking, financial services, or fintech
- 8+ years of experience in the Trade Finance domain
- Hands-on experience with CGI T360 platform
- Strong experience with SQL and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica)
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
- Experience with AWS, including services such as Spark and Glue
- Strong understanding of relational databases and ability to write complex queries
- Experience working in regulated environments and matrixed organizations
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with reporting tools such as Business Objects
- Knowledge of commercial banking products, payments, and lending solutions
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Experience working in Agile development environments
