As a Data & Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering reporting, analytics, and workforce insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining reporting solutions, analyzing workforce and portfolio data, and providing actionable insights that help leaders manage capacity, resource allocation, workforce health, and business performance.

As a Data & Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering reporting, analytics, and workforce insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining reporting solutions, analyzing workforce and portfolio data, and providing actionable insights that help leaders manage capacity, resource allocation, workforce health, and business performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and analytics to support portfolio management, workforce planning, resource management, and business objectives.
- Acquire, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured data to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across reporting and workforce datasets.
- Develop and maintain workforce analytics, including capacity reporting, resource allocation analysis, utilization metrics, workforce forecasting, and organizational health indicators.
- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, reporting needs, workforce challenges, and business goals.
- Create executive-level visualizations, presentations, and reporting materials that communicate trends, risks, opportunities, and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner.
- Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and scale reporting processes, dashboards, and data workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Support workforce planning and resource management activities by providing data-driven insights on staffing levels, capacity constraints, talent gaps, and future workforce needs.
- Design, develop, and enhance reporting solutions using business intelligence and data visualization tools.
- Conduct exploratory and descriptive analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support business and workforce strategies.
- Monitor and improve data quality, reporting standards, and governance practices across reporting and analytics solutions.
- Review and optimize queries and reporting processes to improve performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Develop, document, and manage recurring reporting processes and user guidance materials.
- Train and support business users on reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics capabilities.
- Participate in strategic initiatives related to workforce planning, portfolio management, data analytics, reporting modernization, and process improvement.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications Required
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in reporting, data analytics, business intelligence, workforce analytics, or a related discipline.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, scorecards, and executive reporting for business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Experience with workforce analytics, resource planning, capacity management, utilization reporting, or organizational performance metrics.
- Proficiency with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with SQL and large datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience supporting digital product, technology, portfolio management, or enterprise operations organizations.
- Experience with workforce planning, forecasting, and resource management processes.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
- Experience with Python, R, or advanced analytics tools.
- Familiarity with data governance, automation, and reporting best practices.
