Responsibilities
- Execute and manage M&A, strategic advisory, and capital raising transactions across the FinTech and broader financial services landscape.
- Develop detailed financial models, valuation analyses, merger models, and transaction materials.
- Lead the preparation of client presentations, marketing materials, management presentations, and board-level deliverables.
- Conduct industry, company, and transaction-related research within FinTech, specialty finance, lending, payments, and other financial services verticals.
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage workstreams with clients, counterparties, legal advisors, and other transaction participants.
- Mentor and oversee analysts while partnering closely with senior bankers throughout deal execution.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of investment banking experience.
- Current Associate 1 or Associate 2, or Banker expected to be promoted to Associate in the near term.
- Strong experience within FinTech, FIG, Specialty Finance, Financial Services, Payments, Lending, or diversified financial institutions coverage teams.
- Prior transaction experience in M&A and strategic advisory assignments within financial services-related sectors.
- Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
