The Manager: Community Building leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Firm's community building initiatives across U.S. offices. This role partners with Firm leadership, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and key stakeholders to foster an inclusive, connected, and engaging workplace culture that strengthens collaboration, professional development, and employee experience.




Responsibilities




Essential Functions:



  • Partners with the Assistant Director, Community Building and key stakeholders to support the development and execution of community building, employee engagement, and inclusion initiatives that strengthen connection, collaboration, and belonging across the Firm

  • Serves as a thought partner in the design and implementation of programs, providing insights, recommendations, and operational support to help advance Community Building team priorities

  • Leads the planning, coordination, and execution of community building programs and events across U.S. offices, ensuring a high-quality and consistent experience for participants

  • Partners with Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders, committee members, and stakeholders to support annual planning, program delivery, and ongoing engagement efforts

  • Provides guidance, resources, and day-to-day support to ERGs and other employee communities to help drive participation, impact, and alignment with Firm objectives

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Communications, Talent, Learning & Development, Recruiting, and office leadership, to successfully deliver programs and initiatives

  • Manages program logistics, vendor relationships, budgets, and related administrative processes to ensure effective and efficient delivery of initiatives

  • Develops and coordinates communications, promotional materials, and engagement strategies that increase awareness and participation in community building programs

  • Tracks participation, feedback, and program outcomes and provides recommendations to enhance future initiatives and improve the employee experience

  • Researches emerging trends and best practices related to employee engagement, inclusion, belonging, and community building, sharing relevant insights with team leadership

  • Recruits, coordinates, and supports employee volunteers, speakers, and program participants to ensure successful execution of initiatives and events

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives




Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes




Education/Training/Certifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience has been directly related to the functions of the job




Professional Experience:



  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in employee engagement, community building, employee experience, inclusion, talent, human resources, communications, or related functions

  • Experience managing firmwide or multi-office programs and initiatives required

  • Professional services or law firm experience preferred




Technical Skills:



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, required

  • Experience using survey, reporting, event management, and employee engagement technologies preferred

Management Accountabilities:



  • Leads and manages complex, firmwide programs and initiatives from planning through execution and evaluation

  • Establishes project priorities, allocates resources, and drives accountability for successful outcomes

  • Identifies and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness

  • Provides guidance and direction to project teams, ERG leaders, volunteers, and stakeholders

  • Demonstrates strong leadership, collaboration, and change management capabilities




Physical Requirements:



  • May require occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.

Posted Pay Range



The typical pay scale for this position is between USD $141,000.00/Yr. and USD $187,000.00/Yr., although the actual wage or salary could be lower or higher if the candidate's education, experience, skills and internal pay alignment are different from those specified.
