ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This role sits within the Business Operations Department and reports to the Senior Payment Solutions & Network Manager in Singapore.

We are looking for a Payment Network & Solutions Executive who will assist with integration and day to day running of Payment services within CMC Markets Funded. The Payments Network & Solutions Executive will suit someone who understands Payment vendors and processing and must have knowledge of different payment methods. You know what constitutes a good service, understand risks and controls, are self-motivated and have a natural desire to want to improve existing processes. The person must be comfortable to challenge the status quo, offer solutions to problems and generate new ideas.

Core Responsibilities:

Assist the Head of Payments Services with the selection, due diligence and onboarding of payment service providers, banks, electronic money institutions, wallet providers and payment technology partners.
Assist the coordination with Legal, Procurement, Data Protection, Financial Crime, Risk and Information Security actions, maintaining clear trackers and ensuring questions, documents, approvals and outstanding points are followed through.
Gather, review and maintain provider onboarding information, including company documents, KYC and KYB evidence, product descriptions, websites, funds-flow explanations, bank details, settlement requirements and operating procedures.
Support the review of provider contracts and commercials, including fees, reserves, settlement cycles, chargebacks, termination rights, service levels and operational obligations, escalating material issues for decision or risk acceptance.
Coordinate provider integrations with external PayMaxis team and payment-orchestration partners, covering MIDs, credentials, APIs, webhooks, payment methods, currencies, settlement accounts and configuration requirements.
Prepare and carry out business and operational testing for deposits, payouts, refunds, reversals, settlement reporting, balance movements and exception handling before a service is placed into production.
Create and maintain practical service documentation, including Confluence pages, Jira actions, process flows, operating procedures, control descriptions, test evidence, support contacts and escalation routes.
Once services are established, monitor provider portals and reports to check available balances, pending settlements, reserves, failed transfers, outstanding amounts and other items requiring action.
Reconcile provider transactions, settlements, fees and balances against bank accounts, internal ledgers and reconciliation reports, using approved AI-enabled and data-analysis tools to identify breaks, duplicates, missing items and unusual movements, with appropriate human review.
Investigate and help resolve payment queries, unmatched transactions, duplicated charges, delayed settlements, rejected payments, provider discrepancies and internal operational questions.
Support the controlled movement of fiat funds between approved CMC bank, EMI and PSP accounts, and approved crypto or stablecoin funds between corporate wallets and settlement accounts, in line with documented approvals, limits and dual-control requirements.
Maintain settlement calendars, cut-off times, minimum balance requirements, liquidity or float needs and funding actions so that payment services remain operational and client payments are not unnecessarily disrupted.
Review provider charges, foreign-exchange costs, settlement deductions, reserves, refunds and chargebacks to confirm that amounts applied are understood, supported and consistent with agreed terms.
Assist with provider incidents, service changes and production issues, coordinating updates, evidence, root-cause analysis and remediation actions across providers and internal teams.
Maintain an accurate view of payment-method availability, country coverage, restrictions, settlement currencies, limits and provider status, and ensure operational teams are informed of relevant changes.
Produce clear management information covering balances, volumes, values, settlement ageing, reconciliation breaks, fees, incidents, operational workload and provider performance.
Maintain an appropriate understanding of AML, KYC, sanctions, CASS or equivalent client-money requirements, data protection, PCI DSS, card-scheme rules and CMC regional obligations, while protecting confidential information and completing all required training.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years’ experience in payments, banking, fintech, treasury operations, reconciliation or payment-provider operations.
Practical experience supporting PSP, bank or payment-method onboarding, including document collection, due diligence, implementation actions and provider follow-up.
Good understanding of payment settlement, provider balances, reconciliations, fees, reserves, refunds, chargebacks and exception management.
Experience reviewing commercial or contractual documents and translating obligations into clear actions, controls and operating procedures.
Comfortable working with payment data, spreadsheets, reporting tools and approved AI-enabled tools to investigate transactions and support reconciliations.
Strong attention to detail and confidence handling controlled movement of fiat funds and, where relevant, approved crypto or stablecoin settlement funds.
Good technical awareness of payment integrations, including APIs, webhooks, payment credentials, provider portals, transaction reports and test environments.
Clear written and verbal communication, strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple provider, legal, operational and technical actions at the same time.

Payment-provider onboarding, legal and implementation actions completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
Provider balances, settlements and reconciliation breaks reviewed promptly, with aged or material exceptions escalated and resolved.
Fiat and approved digital-asset fund movements completed accurately, securely and in accordance with approval and dual-control requirements.
Payment and provider queries investigated and resolved within agreed service expectations, with clear records and ownership.
Provider fees, deductions, reserves and invoices checked against agreed terms and discrepancies raised promptly.
Service documentation, controls, test evidence and operational handovers maintained to a complete and usable standard.
