About the Client
Our client is a leading bank in Hong Kong, expanding its Treasury Technology team. To support a major initiative heavily focused on active system development and long-term maintenance, they are seeking two high-caliber developers at the Analyst Programmer / System Analyst level.
This is a 6-month extendable contract role with a strong track record of contract renewal. Candidates from non-banking backgrounds are welcome to apply.

Our client is a leading bank in Hong Kong, expanding its Treasury Technology team. To support a major initiative heavily focused on active system development and long-term maintenance, they are seeking two high-caliber developers at the Analyst Programmer / System Analyst level.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support core Treasury and Foreign Exchange (FX) platforms, including Order Management Systems (OMS), Treasury Algo Trading, Interbank FX Connectivity, and FX Price Setting engines.
- Drive hands-on development based on business user requirements, which includes enhancing and maintaining vendor-provided packages alongside building custom in-house software solutions.
- Provide ongoing technical support, system maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and stability for critical trading operations.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders and business users to translate user requirements into functional technical implementations.
- Strong hands-on development experience in Java (or other primary programming languages), Oracle DB, and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with Message Queue (MQ) systems or Python is highly advantageous.
- Open to candidates from non-banking backgrounds who possess strong technical foundations and hands-on coding capabilities.
