Job Description
As a Fund Accountant Assistant Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing the fund accounting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards for SFC authorised funds
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports for stakeholders.
- Overseeing the reconciliation of accounts and resolving discrepancies effectively.
- Coordinating with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
- Providing guidance and leadership to the accounting team to meet objectives.
- Implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitoring and analyzing financial data to support decision-making.
- Ensuring timely delivery of all fund-related financial deliverables.
A successful Fund Accountant Assistant Manager should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualifications such as CPA or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles and practices.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
