About Our Client

Job Description

Investment Research:

Perform comprehensive quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective fund investments.
Evaluate the performance, risk profile, and strategy robustness of crypto-focused quantitative funds.
Develop and refine systematic frameworks for coin selection, portfolio construction, and risk management.
Monitor existing investments, delivering actionable, data-driven insights on fund performance and market dynamics.

Quantitative Analysis & Market Research:

Analyse crypto market microstructure, execution efficiency, and liquidity dynamics to inform investment strategies.
Research and assess quantitative trading strategies, including statistical arbitrage and trend-following approaches.
Build and enhance proprietary models for risk-adjusted return evaluation and portfolio optimization.
Stay updated of market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in digital assets.

Portfolio & Risk Management:

Support the construction and optimization of a diversified portfolio of crypto quantitative strategies.
Monitor risk exposure, leverage, and correlations across underlying funds to ensure portfolio stability.
Collaborate with risk and operations teams to ensure adherence to investment guidelines and compliance standards.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in a quantitative research role at a hedge fund, trading firm, or crypto-native organization, with a focus on Al-driven feature selection and alpha research
Experience evaluating or implementing quantitative crypto trading strategies is highly desirable.
Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) to engage with diverse stakeholders and
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and model development.
Strong expertise in statistical modelling, machine learning, and financial time-series analysis.
Familiarity with crypto exchanges, market structures, and algorithmic trading frameworks.
