Security Lending SBL Trade Support (Investment Bank)

Responsibilities

Work closely with traders, sales teams, middle office, and other stakeholders to execute SBL trade lifecycle.
Confirm and validate performance, funding interest with counterparties, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Address any trade discrepancies or issues that may arise during the confirmation and settlement process.
Process corporate actions, post trade and life-cycle events
Monitor and manage collateral requirements for SBL trades. Ensure accurate and timely collateral movements, including collateral substitutions, transfers, and recalls
Perform implementation of new processing platforms and system enhancements
Perform daily reconciliations of SBL trade positions, collateral balances, and cash flows.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
2-3 years' experience in middle office / trade support role
Strong understanding of securities lending, borrowing, and collateral management processes.
Familiarity with trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive on taking up tasks
Proficient PC sills including MS Office (Excel & VBA)
