Skills and Competencies
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience delivering large-scale, business-critical, multi-team technology initiatives
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages including Java, Scala, C#, C++, or Python, with expertise in building scalable APIs and microservices
- Extensive experience with relational and NoSQL databases, cloud-native development, containerization, and distributed systems
- Deep understanding of software architecture, data structures, algorithms, performance optimization, multi-threading, and system reliability
- Proven ability to influence technical strategy, mentor engineers, drive organizational alignment, and lead complex engineering programs
- Strong commitment to engineering excellence, including testing, scalability, availability, security, observability, and operational best practices
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Define and execute long-term technical strategies that align engineering priorities with business objectives and customer needs
- Lead the design and delivery of large-scale, high-impact software systems while managing complexity and ambiguity
- Drive architectural decisions and establish scalable, flexible solutions that support evolving business requirements
- Mentor and develop engineers across teams while fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Partner with product and business stakeholders to balance technical trade-offs and maximize customer value
- Lead technical reviews, influence strategic decisions, proactively mitigate risks, and ensure successful execution of critical initiatives
