The Water Group leads vital engineering projects for municipal and industrial clients. We design and deliver critical infrastructure across markets like oil and gas, chemicals, and manufacturing. Our team drives everything from proposal development and planning to detailed engineering for water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems. We cover both treatment and conveyance, including pipelines and pumping facilities. Here, you'll have the chance to contribute to impactful projects that shape essential infrastructure, delivering clean water and sustainable solutions for communities and industries alike.

Your Responsibilities:

• Designing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including power distribution (low and medium voltage), emergency power system design, load calculations.
• One-line drawings, motor schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Design calculation of Transformer, Emergency generator, UPS, Battery system, cable, and lighting system.
• Cable schedule, panel board schedule.
• Grounding plan, cable tray & power plan, duct bank plan, Area classification plan, and lighting plan.
• Technical specification and datasheets of major electrical equipment.
• Preparation of Technical bid evaluation and vendor drawing reviews.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across multiple BMcD offices for project execution and standard compliance.
• Innovation and improvement in Electrical engineering design practices.
• Quality assurance, adherence to project schedule, and meeting client requirements.

Qualifications

Education :

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering

Experience :

Years of Experience: 8-12 years

Technical Skills Required:

• Experience in industrial & municipal water / wastewater treatment projects.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA and U.S. local codes and standards.
• Proficiency in Revit, and AutoCAD for electrical design and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience on U.S. based EPC or design-build projects preferred.
