Our client are a long established business based in South Dublin. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to take ownership of the creditors ledger. The role will operate on a hybrid model and offers parking at their office and an excellent benefits package in a really nice working environment.

The role will be responsible for the full payroll process for multiple payrolls internally. Duties will include:

• Prepare weekly and monthly payroll
• Review and confirm payroll submissions
• Process payroll journals and statutory requirements
• Maintaining and developing relationships internally and externally
• Support on project to upgrade time and attendance system
• Become system super user and perform systems administration e.g. creating new users, internal movement requests etc.
• Bank account management
• Bank reconciliations
• Providing payslips
• Producing monthly reports as requested
• Processing starters and leavers
• Dealing with queries
• Adherence to deadlines in the processing and submission of all statutory returns
• Participate in payroll process improvement projects, efficiencies, automation and systems enhancements
• Payroll reconciliations and comparison reports
• Other ad-hoc payroll related duties as required

The ideal candidate:

• Ideally IPASS qualified or working towards
• At least 2 years' payroll experience
• Ability and track record of working to tight deadlines
• Thorough knowledge of Irish payroll processing
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills - fully fluent written and spoken English essential
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to take ownership of your role
