An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Treasury Solutions Sales Engineer to join a leading global fintech company in Tokyo. In this customer-facing technical sales role, you will help enterprise clients optimize liquidity management and treasury operations through innovative cloud-based financial technology solutions. Working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams, you will deliver compelling product demonstrations, provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, and help shape the future of treasury technology across Japan.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored software demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients, supporting new business growth.
• Prepare high-quality responses to RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) submissions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams by translating customer requirements into technical enhancements.
• Represent the company as a technical expert at industry conferences, client meetings, and market events.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to strengthen product positioning and identify new business opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Over 6 years of professional experience, including more than 5 years in corporate treasury, cash management, foreign exchange (FX), liquidity management, or related financial services.
• Experience supporting B2B technology sales, pre-sales engineering, or solution consulting within fintech or enterprise software.
• Strong understanding of treasury management systems, cash management processes, and FX hedging solutions.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Japan to support client engagements and business development activities.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a consultative approach to customer challenges.
• Outstanding communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working across multicultural teams in a fast-paced environment.

Language Requirements:

• Japanese: Native level
• English: Business to Intermediate level

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based treasury management systems or SaaS financial platforms.
• Knowledge of AI-driven financial technology solutions.
• Experience working with multinational corporations or global financial institutions.
• Understanding of enterprise software implementation or solution architecture.
