At Swiss Life you will contribute your talent and expertise in a motivated and flexible work environment. Flexible working models will enable you to reconcile your professional and personal goals.

In your function as member of the Compliance Team of a super management company (AIFM as well as a UCITS management company managing a wide range of products), you will play a key role in identifying, assessing, monitoring, reporting, advising on and mitigating the Compliance specific risks affecting Swiss Life Asset Managers Luxembourg and its funds (such as regulatory sanctions, financial and reputational risks as a result of the non-compliance with regulatory and legal requirements as well as internal (group) guidelines). The Compliance Team acts as an independent second level control function.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee AML and Corporate Compliance activities in line with Luxembourg regulatory requirements (CSSF, EU regulations) and SLAM group standards
  • Plan, conduct and document internal AML and Corporate Compliance audits, including follow-up on findings and remediation actions
  • Independently own Compliance topics, ranging from analysis and optimization of existing frameworks to the design and implementation of new processes or controls
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement, optimization and standardisation of Compliance processes across the organisation
  • Drive the automation and digitalisation of Compliance processes, demonstrating a strong affinity for tooling, process automation and data-driven solutions
  • Support and challenge business and operational stakeholders on Compliance-related matters, providing pragmatic and solution-oriented advice
  • Monitor regulatory developments relevant to Luxembourg and assess their impact on the organisation, ensuring timely implementation
  • Prepare Compliance reporting and support interactions with internal and external auditors, management and other control functions

Experience
  • Several years of professional experience in Compliance, AML or Risk within Luxembourg, ideally in the asset management, alternative investment, ManCo or AIFM environment
  • Strong Compliance & regulatory expertise in AIFMD and UCITS
  • Strong and proven knowledge of Luxembourg supervisory and regulatory requirements, including CSSF circulars and AML/CFT obligations
  • Solid experience in conducting internal AML and Corporate Compliance audits or audit-like reviews
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of complex topics and drive them to completion
  • High affinity for tools, automation and process optimisation; experience with Compliance systems, workflow tools or data-driven solutions is a strong asset
  • Structured, analytical and pragmatic working style with a strong control mindset
  • Confident communicator able to interact effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are considered an advantage
