A rapidly growing B2B digital payments and financial infrastructure platform is seeking a Enterprise Risk Manager to join its Singapore team. The business is building next-generation cross-border B2B payment solutions, enabling businesses to move funds efficiently across jurisdictions while navigating an increasingly complex regulatory and risk landscape.
This is a highly visible role at the intersection of risk, operations, compliance, and product, where you will be responsible for designing risk frameworks, assessing complex payment flows, and building scalable processes that support business growth. The position offers the opportunity to shape risk strategy from the ground up while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement risk policies, workflows, and operating procedures covering transaction monitoring, customer risk assessment, and payment review processes.
- Build and enhance risk segmentation frameworks based on customer profiles, transaction activity, payment behaviour, and other relevant risk indicators.
- Lead investigations and reviews of complex or high-risk payment activities, conducting detailed analysis to identify potential fraud, financial crime, or operational risks.
- Partner closely with Compliance teams to strengthen risk controls, AML, sanctions, and transaction monitoring controls while maintaining an efficient customer experience.
- Translate risk assessment outcomes into scalable rules, controls, and automated decision-making processes to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of B2B cross-border payments, transaction flows, and customer onboarding processes.
- Experience assessing transactional, operational, fraud, or financial crime risks
- Familiarity with AML, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and customer risk assessment practices.
- Exposure to digital assets, fintech, payment infrastructure, or emerging financial technologies would be an advantage.
