Job Description

1. Support Corporate and Private Banking RMs to provide financial market solutions to their clients (mainly Chinese) based in the Singapore and in the region to manage risk (FX risk, Interest risk, Commodity price risk etc.).
2. In charge of New Products set-up, leading and collaborating with colleagues in CMB SG and CMB HO for Documentation preparation, System testing as well as other supports.
3. Contributing strategies and work out marketing plans to improve FX & derivatives business profits and collaborate with related departments.
4. Prepare data and analyze business development causes and results and find the opportunities for business growth.
5. Completing other tasks as assigned by Management and Department Head.

Requirements

1. Full time with at least four years of experience in banking industry and Corporate Treasury environment preferably with professional experience in FX or Derivative Sales.
2. Completed the Financial Markets Regulatory & Practices (FMRP) Exam, including RES 1A, 1B, CM-SIP and RES 5.
3. Preferably with experience working in Chinese corporate or covering China desk in banks, within Asia / Oceania region due to collaboration with Head Office and Chinese clients.
4. Preferably strong understanding and affiliation to Chinese financial industry with relevant network, due to managing Chinese clients and collaboration with HO.
5. Highly motivated and able to work independently, able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese.
