Job Description:
On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Software Development Analyst to support the replacement of its end-of-life Cherwell Ops Log system with a modern Microsoft Power Platform solution. The successful candidate will design, develop, test, and support integrations between the Ops Log application and multiple enterprise systems across the SkyTrain network.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop integrations between Microsoft Power Platform and enterprise applications
• Build and maintain REST APIs, SOAP services, Azure-hosted integrations, and middleware
• Develop data mappings, interface specifications, and integration workflows
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-go-live hypercare
• Troubleshoot integration, synchronization, and API performance issues
• Ensure integrations meet architecture, security, and governance standards
• Produce technical documentation, deployment plans, and knowledge transfer materials
Required Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• 5+ years of enterprise integration development
• Experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and system-to-system integrations
• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate)
• Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid
• SQL Server, T-SQL, data mapping, and data transformation
• OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and Microsoft Entra ID
• HTTPS, TLS, certificates, SFTP, and PGP encryption
• Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, cloud architecture, and application security
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), transportation systems, operations systems, or public sector environments
