Our client is a global asset manager with specialist and thematic investment strategies, who are looking for a senior member of their communications team based in London. The role role directly into the global leadership team and has direct access to the CEO.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute a proactive global media relations and PR (public relations) strategy
- Cultivate and expand relationships with international financial journalists and editors
- Advise ExCo and senior leaders on media engagement, acting as corporate spokesperson when required
- Craft narratives, speeches, Q&As, key messages and bylines
- Identify emerging themes (e.g. AI, ESG market evolution, and regulation) and drive thought leadership
- Partner with product specialists, investment writers, and portfolio managers to shape strategic messaging
- Plan and align internal and external communications to deliver consistent narratives
- Raise the profile of senior leaders through targeted media opportunities and platforms
Requirements
- Previous experience in external communications/media relations in asset management as required
- Established, active network of relevant journalists, and market contacts
