Job Title: Residential Conveyancing Solicitor
Location: Faversham or Sittingbourne
Salary: £40,000 per annum (increasing with experience)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our team in Faversham or Sittingbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with strong conveyancing expertise to manage a varied caseload and contribute to a growing legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thorough understanding of compliance requirements, including AML risk assessment, source of funds/wealth, and KYC/CDD.
• Managing a caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Drafting and reviewing contract packs.
• Drafting enquiries and reviewing searches / replying to enquiries.
• Reviewing and reporting on mortgage offers.
• Drafting client reports.
• Preparing auction packs and handling auction purchases.
• Handling re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
• Managing the conveyancing process from inception to completion, including post-completion work.

Preferred Experience:

• New build purchases
• Shared ownership transactions
• Help to Buy redemptions
• Experience with Help to Buy ISAs and LISAs

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2+ years PQE in residential conveyancing (preferred but not essential for the right candidate).
• Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
