A leading proprietary trading firm, is seeking a C++ Developer to join its Global Hardware team.
In this role, you'll design, build, and optimize software used to manage and enhance hardware platforms across a highly distributed, low-latency environment. You'll collaborate closely with engineers across software, networking, systems, and hardware disciplines to solve complex technical challenges at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications and trading systems in C++
- Build tooling, services, and infrastructure to support global hardware platforms
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Partner with hardware, networking, and infrastructure teams to improve operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across distributed systems
- Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering best practices
Requirements:
- Strong professional experience developing software in C++
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
- Experience developing on Linux-based systems
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience with low-latency, high-performance, or systems-level development
- Exposure to hardware, networking, operating systems, or infrastructure engineering
- Experience within trading, financial services, or other performance-sensitive environments
