Another Asian rates guy has exited Nomura

As we have been documenting here and here and also here, Nomura's macro business seems to have sprung a leak. Bonuses were paid last month and since then, people have been leaving.

The latest person to disappear, whose exit has only just happened, is understood to be Nathan Sribalasundaram, an emerging markets rates strategist in Singapore. Sribalasundaram didn't respond to a request to comment for this article, but his last day is thought to have been today.

Nomura declined to comment. By our count, at least nine people have left Nomura's macro business since bonuses were paid. Clarissa Reid, a VP in rates sales in Europe is also understood to have resigned a few weeks ago.

Nomura has been hiring as well as losing people. Anshul Sidher, the former global head of markets at ANZ joined as head of global markets at the Japanese bank in April and is rebuilding the team.
