Asia’s darling young multistrategy fund is growing expeditiously
Singapore-based hedge fund Arrowpoint Investment Partners is growing. Bloomberg reported earlier today that the firm will increase its number of trading teams by 50%, from 20 to 30, until the end of the year. It already employs 140 people in total and is expected to reach 190 by the end of the year. Some of those have been hired already.

We've identified at least six portfolio managers (each, presumably, leading a trading team) that have joined Arrowpoint in 2026 - most of them in January. The firm currently has offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Dubai.
The firm added a number of traders in Dubai. It brought in macro portfolio managers Yannick Velho and Christophe Moulin courtesy of BNP Paribas’ London office and Carmginac’s Paris office, respectively. Moulin in particular is a big signing for the firm; he was global head of multi-asset at BNP and deputy head of cross-asset at Carmginac. He is a senior portfolio manager at Arrowpoint now. Both men joined Arrowpoint in January.
Also in Dubai was Abdelak Adjriou and Patrice Ktorza, who joined the firm from asset manager Carmignac and Makor Securities respectively – both as FX portfolio managers. Both also joined Arrowpoint in January.
The firm also added two portfolio managers in its home market – Singapore. Su Lynn Lee joined as a treasury PM from First Abu Dhabi Bank, and Fish Shihao Fu joined after a career break. He was last at Southern Ridges Capital, another Singaporean hedge fund. Fish joined the hedge fund in January, while Su joined in May.
Arrowpoint was founded by ex-Millennium Asia co-CEO Jonathan Xiong. The firm has gone from strength to strength – it launched with around $500m in assets under management in 2024, has around $2bn now, and is aiming for $3bn by the end of the year.
Arrowpoint’s expansion is funded by its successful strategies - equities, fixed income, commodities and quantitative trading. Bloomberg reported that the fund was up by 14% in the 12 months to May 2026.
Arrowpoint's growth pattern is similar to its cross-town big brother, Dymon Asia Capital, which opened a Dubai office at the end of last year.
Arrowpoint Investment Partners is not to be confused with Arrowpoint Advisory, which is the middle market M&A business of boutique investment bank Rothschild. Arrowpoint Investment Partners declined a request for comment on this article.
