Citi's global head of equities quants left in NY and now it would like a new one in London
How would you feel about becoming the global head of equities quant analysis at Citi? If you would feel very good about it, you may like to know that Citi is hiring. The bank has begun advertising the job here in London.

Citi isn't commenting but insiders observe that the job being advertised seems very similar to the job only recently vacated by Anissa Dhouibi in New York. Dhouibi, who spent six years at Citi after joining from JPMorgan, resigned last month. Her whereabouts are unknown and she is not responding to enquiries. Hopefully she is on a beach.
Dhouibi was popular at Citi and her replacement has large shoes to fill. Citi says it would like a "visionary" managing director with a PhD or Masters and 15 years' experience to lead its team.
It's not clear whether Dhouibi's former colleagues in New York might be inclined to move to London for the role. Alternative, the bank may decide it has an internal candidate in the form of Holmi Atig, the London-based global head of equities prime and delta one quant analysis.
