But who are the best recruiters to work with to build your career in tech or quant finance?

Our 2026 eFinancialCareers Ideal Recruiter Report tried to answer that exact question. Based on a survey of over 7,500 financial services professionals that we held across the entirety of 2025, we asked people with experience in technology and quantitative finance functions who they would trust to get them a job in the industry.
The industry’s preferred recruiter in technology and quantitative finance is AI Search, also known as AI Recruitment. The firm, based in London, has a number of specialties, including machine learning, high frequency trading, and systematic and quantitative macro.
The second most popular recruiter for technology and quantitative finance is Huxley, a London-based recruitment firm with some 17 global offices. Huxley is part of SThree, a STEM-focused recruiting group that also includes Progressive, Real Staffing Group, and Global Enterprise Partners.
“Highly professional”, one Emirates-based professional said about Huxley. “Always a pleasure to work with,” a London-based colleague agreed.
In third place among Ideal Technology & Quantitative Finance recruiters was Selby Jennings. Although the firm is better known for its investment banking and sales & trading recruitment offerings, its technology and quant hiring is substantial.
