Redha Achour, the head of investment grade credit trading for APAC at RBC Capital Markets has made the most of this phenomenon. He is leaving the Canadian Bank. Achour is joining Citadel Securities in Hong Kong from April instead.
His exit comes amidst a flurry of post-bonus moves in the Hong Kong credit trading space.
As we reported earlier this week, Goldman Sachs has hired Jeff Leung, the head of flow credit for greater China at BNP Paribas.
Achour spent nearly three years at RBC and the previous 15 years at BNP Paribas, where he presumably worked with Leung, who was there for seven years.
Former BNP fixed income trading head Francisco Oliveira is building out SocGen's fixed income business. Notably, neither Leung nor Achour have gone that route.
