Revolut planning to offer 10x more hybrid internships after application surge

Revolut's 'Rev-celerator' internships have been growing exponentially with each new cohort. For its first few years, there were tens of interns. In its next few, there will be hundreds.

In Revolut's recent annual report, the fintech said it received 30,000 applications for its early careers opportunities. It's not clear how many of those were to its internships rather than graduate roles, but a Revolut spokesperson confirmed that it has more than quadrupled its cohort of interns for 2025, accepting 140.

Next year, Revolut plans to offer even more. It's aiming for 300 internships, almost a 10x increase in a two-year period. Applications for 2026 internships will open in September, and close in January. The internships themselves last 10 weeks from July to September.

Completing a Rev-celerator internship comes with a graduate job offer 54% of the time. Revolut's annual report revealed that, of 33 Rev-celerator interns in 2024, 18 received return offers. However, all 20 of the first cohort of interns in 2023 also received offers. Interns are notified whether they will be returning as a graduate within a month of completing the internship.

CEO Nik Storonsky has often said that he wants his employees working where they know they work best, but you will have to wait until you're working at Revolut full-time before you can be fully remote. Rev-celerator internships are hybrid and expect employees to be in the office 2-3 days per week. The bank says this is "to connect with Revoluters and learn as much as possible," but notes that some roles may require less office time after initial training, depending on the team.
