Robert Half is partnering with a respected WA business to recruit an experienced Finance Officer for a four-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team in a varied role supporting day-to-day finance operations.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• End-to-end accounts payable processing
• Accounts receivable support, including invoicing and allocations
• Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing journals and assisting with month-end reporting
• Maintaining accurate financial records and resolving account discrepancies
• Responding to internal and external finance enquiries
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc finance and administration duties

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer or similar position
• Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
• Availability to commence at short notice
