Our client is a leading pan-Asian life insurance group dedicated to making financial protection simpler and more accessible. With a strong digital-first strategy, they are actively driving technology optimization and modern platform upgrades across their regional markets.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the technical design, configuration, and onboarding of core financial products onto digital e-commerce and business application platforms.
Perform complex systems analysis, data modeling, and mapping of cross-system API sequences and data flows across a distributed architecture.
Partner with cross-functional product and pricing teams to translate intricate calculation rules and data tables into functional system designs.
Prioritize application requirements to build conceptual prototypes, mock-ups, and business process models.
Collaborate closely with internal infrastructure, security, and solution delivery teams to ensure technical project milestones are met within budget.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to optimize software workflows, streamline data processing, and reduce manual development timelines.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in full systems development lifecycle (SDLC), preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
Solid experience in insurance product configuration and rolling out products across agency, broker, and bancassurance channels.
Technical proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and MongoDB query writing, alongside a strong understanding of web/app architectures.
Hands-on knowledge of modern software engineering practices, including Agile methodologies, DevOps, Cloud ecosystems, and microservices patterns.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills in English, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders across functional boundaries.
