The Business Analyst - Operation contract supports the organisation’s digital transformation and system enhancement projects within the insurance sector. This role involves gathering and analysing business requirements, managing process improvements, and coordinating system and vendor deliverables. It requires close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and adoption.
Key Skills & Experience
- 5+ years' BA experience within the insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of new business, underwriting, or life insurance operations
- Experience in project delivery, business analysis, and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and JIRA is an advantage
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of underwriting automation and digital customer journeys preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SQL knowledge is a plus
- Fluent in English and Chinese; Cantonese is required
Role Overview
This role involves leading requirements gathering, process analysis, and system enhancement efforts. The successful candidate will coordinate digital transformation projects, manage UAT activities, prepare documentation, and facilitate stakeholder engagement. It will be based in a hybrid working environment with a focus on effective collaboration between business, IT, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities and process improvement initiatives
- Coordinate system enhancements, digital projects, and vendor deliveries
- Manage UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution
- Prepare project documentation, governance reports, and management updates
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and liaise between business, IT, and vendors
- Support training, change management, and user adoption efforts

- Minimum of 5 years' BA experience within the insurance industry
- Degree holder in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related disciplines
