Our client is a venture-backed DeepTech AI company experiencing rapid growth and commercialization across international markets. Supported by leading investors and an experienced leadership team, the company is preparing for its next phase of expansion and long-term capital markets strategy, including a potential US listing.

Your New Role
Reporting directly to the CEO and Board, you will be responsible for leading the global finance function and driving financial strategy as the business scales toward public company readiness.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead overall finance, accounting, tax, treasury, FP&A, and corporate governance functions
• Develop and execute IPO readiness initiatives, including financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance frameworks
• Partner with external advisors, auditors, legal counsel, investment banks, and regulatory stakeholders
• Support capital raising activities, investor engagement, and strategic financing initiatives
• Build scalable finance infrastructure, policies, systems, and processes to support international growth
• Establish financial planning and performance management frameworks for executive decision-making
• Present financial performance, strategic recommendations, and business insights to the CEO, Board, and investors
• Evaluate M&A, partnership, and investment opportunities from a financial and strategic perspective
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance organization
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, tax, and reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related disciplines
• Qualified CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
• Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, VP Finance, or senior finance executive within a technology, AI, DeepTech, software, biotech, or high-growth business
• Experience supporting USA IPO readiness, public company reporting, fundraising, M&A, or capital markets activities
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership
• Hands-on leadership style and willingness to operate in a fast-paced growth environment
• Experience managing international finance operations is highly advantageous
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin required)
