Our client, a leading global asset manager, is looking for an additional hire to their London institutional sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for a UK institutional sales professional with a proven track record of developing and executing a sales strategy into the insurance sector as well as other client segments across the UK institutional market.

Responsibilities

Expand relationships and pipeline across UK life insurers, general insurers, reinsurers, and insurance‑owned platforms
Originate and execute mandate sales with a consultative approach aligned to capital, liability and investment objectives
Own the end‑to‑end sales process for insurance mandates, including capital‑model‑driven RFPs and DDQs, and input to insurance‑specific materials
Build and maintain relationships with investment consultants (generalist and insurance‑specialist) influencing the insurance segment
Represent the firm at insurance industry events and forums

Requirements

Significant asset management UK institutional sales experience
Established network with UK insurer CIOs, Heads of Investment, Treasury/ALM, and insurance consultants
Strong technical fluency in insurance balance sheets, Solvency II, matching adjustment, capital charges
