Lunchtime Links: Nomura has now paid 70% of the Lehman bonuses
Nomura has now paid 70% of the very generous guaranteed bonuses it offered to the senior people it hired from Lehman, and according to eFinancialNews there has not been a rush for the exits. The site reports that 95% of the people Nomura wanted to keep are still in place. This fits with our recent article in which a senior Nomura insider stated that no one would be leaving Lehman/Nomura because it was too risky to do and no where else is hiring anyway.
