Jason Kunreuther has joined DRW as the COO of parent company DRW Holdings, based in Chicago. He previously spent three years at Citadel Securities as one of its divisional COOs, working in its retail client business.
Before Citadel Securities, Kunreuther spent four years at Chicago prop trading firm Peak6 Capital Management. He was also at Barclays for over seven years and was its COO of Americas equities.
DRW isn't your average algorithmic trading firm. It's been described as a highly sophisticated family office by the FT, with one insider calling it "Don's shop." The firm has been growing, however and has ~2,100 employees and counting.
