Background
Our client is one of the world's leading foreign corporate investment banks with sustainable growth in Asia. We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor (AVP or VP) to join the APAC team in Hong Kong/ Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Part of the APAC IT Audit team, responsible for planning and executing audit assignments for all lines of business in the region.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of technology controls, such as cybersecurity, data management, application controls, network, system, infrastructure, engineering etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate IT risks.
- Prepare detailed audit reports that communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to management.
- Stay current on emerging IT audit trends, technologies, and regulations.
- Assist in developing and maintaining IT audit methodologies and tools.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Approximately 5-10 years of experience in IT audit, or IT risk management, combined with an SME area such as cybersecurity, engineering, cybersecurity etc. gained from banking, insurance, or financial services sector.
- Big 4 professionals at Manager or above are welcome.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CIA.
- Technically strong with a excellent understanding about IT process, controls, and a forward-thinking mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Open to occasional travel in Asia.
